I'm Kendra. I am seventeen, and my life consists of tea, music, theatre, and more tea. (Then sprinkle a little more music on top.) I play guitar, ukulele, clarinet, and I sing. I'm also learning the bassoon. My lovely friend is Mattie and she deserves all of the best things in the world. Simon is also flawless. I love writing, drawing, photography, art, books, human rights, movies, and television. Too often, I use my headphones to drown the world out, I escape from the world in a book, or I lose the world on stage, and that's the best life anyone could ask for. One of my other favourites from the EP. This song is just way too happy for me not to love. Especially the chorus. That one line, “so pick me up again, and spin me ‘round, deep in the lion’s den” just catches me for some reason (:
It almost feels like a joke to play out the part when you are not the starring role in someone else’s heart. You know I’d rather walk alone than play a supporting role, if I can’t get the starring role. Sometimes, I ignore you so I feel in control, cause really, I adore you, and I can’t leave you alone.
